HEARTS BROKEN, HEALING AND TRANSFORMING
This latest evolution of my installation Heart Locker will be on view at the HI-Desert Artists Gallery in Yucca Valley, CA, www.hi-desertartists.com/
from February 14 - March 10, 2025.
This will be the first time the installation has been shown in a gallery space.
It was a challenge to figure it out, but it has all come together beautifully.

As in earlier manifestations of the Heart Locker (see INSTALLATIONS), there will be an experiential element as an integral part of the exhibition. Viewers will be invited to share their responses to the "hearts", by writing them on tags which will be displayed for all to share.
WORKSHOPS
I am also offering 3 workshops during the exhibition. The workshops will focus on participants’ experiences of the Heart Locker and its theme of heart transformation, using structured experiential activities. The aim of the workshops is to provide a space in which those who come can share stories of their own personal heart-healing. The format will be facilitated group conversation and include the opportunity for other forms of expression such as writing, drawing and collage. No artistic skill required! These are just tools to aid in giving ourselves different ways to voice experience. The workshops are not counseling or therapy sessions, although they are safe, confidential and respectful spaces. They have no agenda. The only objective is to offer a space in which participants have the opportunity to develop increased personal awareness through sharing experiences with one another.
My experience in facilitating groups has spanned over 40 years in the areas of personal development, leadership training, and team building.
Number of participants is limited to 10 per workshop. Sign up early!
